How To Order

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  When do I need to place my order?

A: We prefer 48 hours notice, but we can do a rush order with some items.

2.   How long will my order keep?

A: Most items will last 5-7 days in the refrigerator, and many selections can be frozen for up to 6 months but it will taste the freshest within 60 days.

3.   How do I get my food?

A: You may have it delivered to your home or place of work or arrange to pick it up at our kitchen at 1111 SW 10th Avenue at Main, located inside the YWCA in downtown Portland. Delivery is available for $5.00 within Portland City limits, free for orders over $100.00. Delivery available to other locations based on fee arrangement. Due to the perishable nature of our products we require that someone be present to take delivery of your items, unless prior arrangements are made.

4.  Is there a minimum order?

A: No, but free delivery only applies to orders over $100

5.  How is my order packaged?

A: For all but a few of our dinner options we vacuum seal our meals either in bags or mason jars for maximum freshness and space efficiency. Crepes, Lasagna, Enchiladas and Cupcakes are delivered in a foil tray. Our catering orders are packaged on a case by case depending on our clients needs.

6.  How do I know how to reheat the food?

A: We label each item with both conventional and microwave heating instructions. You will also have a master order list with these instructions—we recommend placing this sheet on the fridge.

7.  I am having a dinner party, can I order more than 4 servings of a dinner item?

A: Absolutely! We can work with you from our existing menu or come up with something unique just for your special event. You can also peruse our catering options for larger events.
